Hello, this is planned to be used during our SMSC form time activity slot across Secondary ad Sixth Form, however can also be used as an assembly. The PPT gives details of: 1. What happened 2. Short video on the vigil and recognising the victims 3. 2 questions about the attack answered using sources from Newsround 4. Quotes about peace through Islam 5. British Values - invites students to identify what they are and how they can be linked to this incident. I have also typed notes about how each one can be linked in case there is any doubt. This Powerpoint is planned for the SMSC form group activity but can also be used in an assembly. It will be sent to all forms in the school and sixth form so it is suitable for years 7-13. Students are invited to discuss their job prospects and how technology could impact this in the coming years. What can they do to prepare for this? There is a 10 minute video exploring how technology has impacted jobs and how it will continue to do so. The last reflection task links back to British Values.

Hello, This is a resource I have created to send to all tutor groups in our school and sixth form college. It is designed as a 15 minute activity during the SMSC slot in our week. The activity covers the origins of Halloween in Britain, how it is celebrated today, questions to check understanding and then a discussion task around British Values. I hope you find this useful :) Thanks, Melissa
